Have your say on Green Energy “power and tax grab” Act

Simcoe – Those with concerns on government’s Green Energy Act and its inherent plan to fast track energy projects while forcing energy audits on unsuspecting customers have a chance to make their voices heard.

The General Government Committee has announced its plans and schedule for public input meetings to deal with Bill 150 in April.

The Committee will meet to consider oral presentations at the following times and locations:

Toronto hearing dates
·       April 6
·       April 8
·       April 20
·       April 22

Travel dates
·       April 14 – London, Ottawa or Sault Ste. Marie
·       April 15 – London, Ottawa or Sault Ste. Marie
·       April 16 – Ottawa or Sault Ste. Marie

Groups or individuals who wish to appear before committee at any of the locations listed above must contact the Committee Clerk by no later than 12 PM ON FRIDAY, MARCH 27th.

Written submissions must be received by the Committee Clerk by no later than 5 PM ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22.
