Arcady
in tune with Trillium announcement
Simcoe— Arcady is in
harmony to the tune of $32,900 thanks to an Ontario Trillium Foundation
grant.
The Grand River Grant Review
Team approved the funding last month for the talented group of young performers
founded and directed by Ronald Beckett.
“Arcady has quickly become
a musical focal point for the Norfolk area,” said Haldimand-Norfolk-Brant
MPP Toby Barrett. “This funding will help the young talents of Arcady
continue to spread their music to listeners across Southern Ontario,”
"We are sincerely grateful for this grant," added Beckett. "I
wish to thank the Foundation on behalf of the numerous young musicians
and audience members who will be its direct recipients."
The Ontario Trillium Foundation,
an agency of the Ministry of Culture, receives annually $100 million of
government funding generated through Ontario’s charity casino initiative.
The Foundation allocates grants to eligible charitable and not-for-profit
organizations in the arts, culture, environment, human and social services,
and sports and recreation sectors.
